Plant monsters

EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE IS REAL!

An exhibit of site-responsive sculpture presented by Studios Without Walls is currently on view in Riverway Park, Boston, MA near the Longwood T stop. Included is one of my environmental sculptures, another iteration of the creature known as Qwgklak. If you take the Longwood T or are catching a Red Sox game, why not take a stroll through the park and catch the exhibit? Hint: if you go, be sure to walk around the tree for additional hidden surprises.

Current sculpture exhibition---now through Oct.10!

Sculptural versions of creatures from my Fells mythology are lording it over and lurking about the woods at Old Frog Pond in Harvard, MA through Oct. 10. Some smaller ceramic artifacts are also on view. This Sunday afternoon there is a reception for the included artists and a guided tour, as well as live music --- come on out! It's a beautiful setting!

UPDATE: Though the sculpture walk has officially ended, I have been invited to leave my installations in place for the winter and document them as they enter their phase of entropy and decomposition.

Annual Sculture Walk in Harvard, MA!

My creatures are out lording it over and lurking about the woods at Old frog Pond for the annual sculpture walk! Running now through October 10th, the annual event features work by sculpture artists throughout New England and I am thrilled to be in such amazing company. The venue was kind enough to use a photograph of one of my installations on the promo material, pictured here. My work is featured in two locations and incorporates my plant monsters with new ceramic artifacts. The creatures are meant to decompose over time, so I would encourage visitors to go early and then check back towards the end of the run to observe how nature begins to reclaim these materials. Info at the two links listed here. Images from the installation are in the process of being added to the Sculpture and Installation page of the website.
