Next up---cyanotyping at Longwood Gardens!

It's been a really busy summer teaching and running workshops, and all my students, youths and adults, have turned out some amazing work! Next on the agenda is the workshop in cyanotype process at Longwood Gardens outside Philadelphia in Kennett Square, PA. We will be using materials from the famous water gardens to make images in the historic cyanotype printing method. This one promises to be really fun!

Ziatype Workshop at Digital SIlver!

Digital Silver in Belmont, MA has invited me to give a workshop in the Ziatype printing process on Saturday August 6th. The workshop will run all day with a break for lunch and we will be printing on the new Hahnemuhle platinum rag paper with promotional support from Hahnemuhle! Participants will learn to create digital negatives and will go home with prints made using this versatile palladium based process. Fun and experimental---this will be an enjoyable day! Info available through Digital Silver.

Summer Youth Program at Lesley

I am pleased to be teaching several courses again this summer in the Youth Program at Lesley, a pre-college experience for high school students. These kids are doing some amazing work so far, including printing using only chlorophyll as seen in our set up here. From exploring Boston with their phone cameras to blending sculpture and photography to alternative process, they are handling everything I am throwing at them!
